Restaurant Athen in Donaustauf

Usually a great restaurant with nothing to complain about. But it has been decreasing a lot since the last few times. On the phone I was assured as always that it would be no problem to get the calamari without "feet" (otherwise it was never a problem). In the evening the big disappointment ... there were mostly feet, so tentacles. I have a bone too !? pulled out of the fried calamari, which I've never seen before and they were a bit hard and rancid on the edge. In addition, my partner and I have had massive stomach problems since we ate 2 days ago, which is otherwise never the case. We will probably look for a new Greek for the future.

Very good food, friendly hosts, perfect portions that are quickly prepared. I can only recommend it.

First of all: the food tastes really delicious. There are full five stars for it. However, there are two star deductions in the portion size and the hidden price increase. In the times of Theo and Co. you paid around 15 EUR for the court of the house. The price stayed the same. The difference, however, is that the portion box (to go) is now partially filled with fries and was previously full of meat, calamari, etc. So a really full pile and fries / salad were in a separate box. Now the fries are in the portion box and you get about half less for the same price. A reason for me to go somewhere else in the future. Because I don't pay 15 EUR for fries with a little meat.

A solid Greek restaurant. The food tastes good, is quickly prepared and includes all the important side dishes. Cant comment on the atmosphere as I tested the restaurant on lockdown. If you live nearby it is worth ordering.

Delicious meal. Friendly staff. Unfortunately, I found the portion a bit too small. Otherwise the restaurant was clean and the waiting time was okay. Prices are reasonable and not too expensive.

Good menu, fair prices and generous portions. Very friendly staff! Numerous free parking spaces are just a few minutes' walk away.

I moved here from Burgweinting three years ago - now the Greek has followed high-quality and first-class food. And the restaurant obviously has a good reputation - mostly full! This is exactly how Greek food has to taste!

The food is very good, but guests who have ordered take-away and have to wait between the eating guests are a bit annoying. Friendliness of the staff ok, but could be a little better. Prices very good.

Very bad food since the owner was changed, unfriendly staff no comparison to before .. Pick-up food is very, very bad and everything has to be ordered separately, so with a normal and a small gyros you are then at 33 euros that would not have been the case with the previous owner ...

A lot of food on the plate !! Plate for 2 would probably have been enough for 4-5 people. We have two left, more than half, even though we both put in as much as XD went. We recommend. :)

Just wonderful! Very good food and fast service. This was my first visit but the place has really given me a very good impression. I recommend further, although the other reviews say that it should have been better earlier.
